Nobody gets the brunt of the public’s rage like train companies and advertising campaigns only add to that ire. This campaign for South West Trains hijacks advertising space, replacing it with genuinely useful content for commuters.

 Challenge: We can’t make our commuters’ trains go any faster, but can we make their journey feel shorter?

 An ad, or a retro game to pass the time? We created ‘Snakes on a Train’ a game inspired by the Nokia classic ‘Snake’. In our version, the snake-trains collected commuters.

We used our ad space to give commuters 30 mins ad-free music during peak commuter times.

We turned commuters from haters into fans.
