Social Campaign
To demonstrate that the new Xperia features the world’s best camera in a waterproof smartphone – we teamed up with explorer @Ed_Stafford to launch an epic game of hide-and-seek, which had followers guessing remote locations across the globe and reached over 1 million people in just one week.
#Z1HIDDEN: Fans followed clues across social channels and we challenged them to uncover the exact underwater location of 4 hidden Z1s. To guess, players simply dropped a pin on Google Maps and we calculated the nearest distance from our destination, in a mechanic similar to GeoGuessr.
